Oysters from nearby Loch, crab cakes were to die for, and seasonal special menu for mains and appetisers were all great. Whereas, as good as the food and service is in Finnieston, you are cramped in like a sardine (excuse the pun). This time, we went for the lemon sole and halibut. “ May 3 Another great evening and actually waited on by our favorite server Petra. Sat up front again. Hands down the best service in Glasgow. All the dishes we ordered were well presented and delicious. Good job. Popped in this evening and sat on one of the high tables in front. We actually prefer these for dining and the bar itself. Food was delicious. Mussels were so plump, scallops are always a winner and a great wee house salad that is a cut above what you get elsewhere. It’s a very stylish and comfortable restaurant. Best of all was Petra. She always has a smile and is low key but looks after you in every way. Merry Xmas folks and thank you ”

“ I had a delicious meal and the bar staff were wonderful. I was by myself and didn't have a reservation but fortunately there was plenty of bar space so I made myself comfortable there. The fish off the specials was cooked perfectly and the mash and cabbage were delicious. Describing it in such a plain way really doesn't do it justice. I think there was cheese and/or garlic in the mash and the green cabbage had perfect seasoning. I had the lemon curd dessert, recommended by the bar tender, which was divine and complemented my cocktail (Captain Ron). Finished off with tea and home made perfect tablet. Nothing to complain about other than the meal has finished. Alas, haha! I hope I can visit next time I'm in Glasgow. A wee bit far from London, but who knows. ”
